GORGOROTH To Re-Record 'Under The Sign Of Hell' Album
October 8, 2010Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH have issued the following update:
"GORGOROTH will spend the following week in [drummer] Tomas Asklund's Monolith Studio to put the finishing touches on a project which has been kept secret until now: a complete re-recording of the band's third album, 'Under The Sign Of Hell'.
"It has long been Infernus' [guitar] wish to do such a re-recording, and now the work is close to an end. No release date has been set yet, but an early-to-mid-2011 release is likely.
"In addition, the time in the studio will be spent working on the still-untitled next GORGOROTH full-length album, tentatively scheduled for a late 2011 release. Both albums will be released by Regain Records."

GORGOROTH's ninth album, "Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt", is now finally available on vinyl, in two different versions. The regular vinyl edition, which includes a poster, is released by Regain Records, whereas the picture disc version is released by Forces of Satan Records. Both versions are strictly limited pressings.
"Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt" was released on October 21, 2009 in Europe via Regain Records. The CD, which was made available in the U.S. on November 11, was recorded at Tomas Asklund's Monolith Studio and features Infernus on guitar, OBITUARY's Frank Watkins (a.k.a. Bøddel) on bass, Pest on vocals and Tomas Asklund on drums.
"Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt" was produced by Infernus and co-produced/engineered by Tomas Asklund. It was mastered at the Cutting Room in Stockholm.
